We offer two ways to deal with them. Stump grinding, starting at $150, cuts small and medium stumps down below grade with a purpose-built grinder and is the right choice for most lawns and garden spots. Full stump removal and root extraction, starting at $300, digs out the entire stump and root ball, which is what you want when a deck, pool, addition or replacement tree is going into that exact spot. We work across Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Woodbridge, Halton Hills and Hamilton, and the person who quotes the job is on the crew that does it. Every quote is written, on site and free, and we will tell you plainly which of the two services your situation actually calls for, including when the cheaper one is the right answer. If your tree is still standing, we fold the stump work into the removal quote so the permit check, the takedown and the stump all run through one crew instead of three phone calls.
